We are incredibly proud to share that our very own colleague and handball player, Björn Dörflinger, recently took a remarkable step to save a life by donating stem cells. Björn's story is an inspiring example, showing how a simple action can make a monumental difference for someone in need.
After registering with the German Bone Marrow Donor Center, Björn matched with a patient in need of stem cells. He then underwent a thorough health check and the donation process, giving the gift of life to a person battling a severe illness. The process, though taking several hours, was smooth and handled with care, and Björn's bravery shines through.
This is a powerful reminder of how easy it can be to get involved and help save lives. If you're not registered as a stem cell donor yet, consider joining the DKMS or a similar organization in your country. Together, we can make a huge impact!
